Nazareth Baptist Church, 123 N. Lincoln St., Washington, will hold a Pampers for Christmas drive to distribute to the annual Coco Christmas held at the Lemoyne Multi-Cultural Community Center. Monessen’s Christmas parade and tree lighting will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday in downtown Monessen. The parade will start at 5:30 at the credit union and end in the lot by the library. There will be hot cocoa, cookies, treat bags for the children and fireworks.

Emmanuel United Presbyterian Church, 480 Route 519, Eighty Four, will host “Twas the Light Before Christmas” at 5 p.m. Dec. 3. The evening will feature an interactive program for all ages. After the program, a dinner will be held consisting of chili, baked potatoes with assorted toppings and desserts.
