Valley chamber hosts free business workshop
The Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free business workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Hampton Inn, 1525 Broad Avenue Ext., Belle Vernon.
Business coach Ken Sevick will discuss “Six Steps to a Better Business,” which will include strategies for saving time and money, building customers and profits and creating a high-performance team.
Also, the chamber’s monthly luncheon, slated for Oct. 11, will feature Sara Schumacher, vice president of fund development. The meeting will be held in the Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital.
The luncheon is $15 for members and $18 for nonmembers. Reservation deadline is Friday by calling the chamber at 724-483-3507.
