Liberty United Methodist Church, 1330 Banetown Road, Washington, will hold a community dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Menu will include cream chicken and biscuit, mashed potatoes, green beans, coleslaw or fruit, dessert and a beverage. Pumpkin Patch for Missions will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 8 at Emmanuel United Presbyterian Church, 480 Route 519, Eighty Four. There will be pumpkins, hot dogs, baked goods and drinks. Western Pennsylvania Lensshooters Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at Peters Township Public Library. Guest speaker will be Michael Ray, a commercial food photographer based in Pittsburgh whose clients include Heinz, Ocean Spray, Sara Lee, José Cuervo, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Subway and Weight Watchers. Fall Family Fun Fest, hosted by the Spring Valley Bruderhof community, will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 15 at 100 Spring Valley Road, Farmington. There will be folk music, barbecue and hayrides.
Power of Music will close out its free concert season with a performance by Hard Knoxx from 8 to 11 p.m. Oct. 15 at West Brownsville American Legion Post 940, 800 Middle St. The event is being held in conjunction with the Legion’s OctoberFest.
