A designer apparel and footwear show will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. today in the Guesman Room at Washington Health System Greene, Waynesburg. The fundraiser is sponsored by Washington Health System Greene Auxiliary. Payroll deduction is available for health system employees. Cash and credit card also are accepted. National Grange Secretary Judy Sherrod will visit the Harveys-Aleppo Grange meeting Thursday for National Grange Month. Also attending will be June Pinkney, Tennessee grange lecturer. A covered dish supper will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the meeting. Entertainment will include dancing by Veronica Lasko. Brief presentations will be made by Thelma Szarell, retired West Greene School District superintendent, and local firefighters.
Starlight All-Star Cheer, a new Christian-based competitive cheer group for preschoolers through 19-year-olds, will hold a spring crafter/vendor show from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday in the gymnasium of Crossroads Ministry Church, Finleyville. There will be a Chinese auction, and food will be available for purchase. There also will be information and registration forms available for new cheerleaders. Country music featuring Ben Tharp and Garold Postlethwait will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at New Freeport fire hall. Tharp will perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m., and Postlethwait will follow. Admission is $5.
Thomas Presbyterian Church, Eighty Four, will hold a Flea Market and Craft Extravaganza from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 6. Indoor and outdoor spaces are available.
