New Freeport fire hall will hold a country music concert from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Brad Crow and the Cut-Ups will perform from 7 to 8:30, and Ben Tharp will perform from 8:30 to 10. Admission is $5. The concert is sponsored by the New Freeport Ladies Auxiliary.

West Newton Center for Active Adults will take a bus trip to a Pittsburgh Pirates game Aug. 18. The bus will leave from the West Newton Volunteer Fire Department at 4:15 p.m. and from the Belle Vernon Park-n-Ride at 4:30. Cost is $75, and includes all-you-can-eat fare.
