Chartiers Township Community Center will host family movie night at dusk Sunday.

Washington Health System Outpatient Center – California, 300 Technology Drive in Coal Center, will hold an open house from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Aug. 30. The event will open to VIP guests at 4:30 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will follow at 5. There will be refreshments, facility tours, meet-and-greet with WHS Family Medicine California providers and other health system professionals. Residents of Washington County who go to Florida in the winter are welcome to join the Washington County-Florida Reunion group, which meets each year for a luncheon. This year’s reunion will be held Aug. 30. For more information, call Jerry Brenner at 724-225-9273.

West Newton Church of God will hold a Peach Festival from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 31 at the Sewickley Grange, Route 136. The menu will include pulled pork sandwiches, salads, peach desserts and beverages.
