Voice of Democracy winner selected
VFW Post 191 of Canonsburg presented the Voice of Democracy award to Maria Teman, a sophomore at Canon-McMillan High School. Maria won the local award of $200, and will represent Post 191 in the district competition. The district winner will go to the state competition in December. The nationals, in which a scholarship worth up to $30,000 is presented, will be held in January.
