Fish fires
Daisytown Community Center, 3 Main St. – 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays, March 17 through April 14. There will be fish dinners and fish sandwiches. Fish dinners will consist of three pieces of whiting fish, fries, coleslaw and dessert for $10. Fish sandwich is $7 and includes two pieces of whiting fish. Drinks will be available for purchase. Holy Trinity Church, 605 Hewitt Ave., Washington – 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Friday, Feb. 10 through April 7. Menu includes fish sandwich, pierogies, cabbage and noodles, clam chowder, coleslaw, french fries, macaroni and cheese, potato pancakes, drinks, dessert, coffee and hot tea. Stations of the Cross will be held at 7:30 p.m. every Friday during Lent. Call 724-225-3401 for delivery only. There is a $40 minimum for local businesses.
