Carmichaels club honors students
Carmichaels Area Women’s Civic Club selected a Girl of the Month for November and December. They are Mollie Ehrlichman and Morgan Faddis, respectively.
Ehrlichman, daughter of Lisa Grim of Carmichaels, is a senior at Carmichaels Area Junior/Senior High School and is a member of the drama club, color guard, concert band, choir, Big Brothers Big Sisters, National Honor Society, book club, SADD, ladies ensemble and academic league. She also is a high honors student, secretary of the Spanish club and historian of Student Council.
Ehrlichman is a dancer and is an assistant teacher at For the Love of Dance. She also is a member of the Center for the Performing Arts, performing at countywide festivals, and busks in Pittsburgh.
She participates in the youth group at Carmichaels First United Methodist Church and enjoys playing instruments, singing, dancing and playing with her dog, Snow.
Ehrlichman plans to attend California University of Pennsylvania to major in psychology and muscial theater.
Faddis, daughter of David and Prudence Faddis of Rices Landing, is a senior at Carmichaels Area Junior/Senior High School.
She is a varsity cheerleader, varsity softball player and was the varsity volleyball captain. Faddis is a member of SADD, was homecoming attendant, is vice president of the senior standing committee and received the 2016 Herald-Standard fall scholar athlete award.
Faddis was a volunteer at Relay For Life with the Carmichaels Lady Mikes softball team and Team Dugan, volunteered at Kicking Cancers Butt kickball tournament and has played softball for 14 years.
Faddis attends Robert Morris University, where she is studying nursing.
