Brownsville Area Ministerial Association is seeking applications from homeowners who need repairs for its summer work camps.

Repairs will be provided for free June 19-23 and June 26-30.

To submit a homeowner’s property, call BAMA secretary Melissa Tunney at 724-984-1544 or Dr. Judith Taylor, Fayette County coordinator for Reach Mission trips, at 724-812-1597. Taylor also is available to speak to groups about the work camps.

Taylor has nearly 500 students from all over the United States lined up to repair, renovate, build handicapped ramps and paint homes.

Corporate sponsorships and volunteers also are needed, including people with pickup trucks and vans to haul construction materials, troubleshooters for work sites, drivers and people each afternoon to get Brownsville Area High School ready for the teams’ return from the field.

Bottled water, ice, snacks and volunteers are needed to simply break bread with the workers each night at Brownsville Area Middle School, where they will be staying. Call Tunney to volunteer time, money or services.
