The Washington office of Vocational Rehabilitation, 201 W. Wheeling St., will host an open house and job fair, “Focus on Manufacturing,” from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. There will be seven area employers along with officials to discuss benefits counseling and criminal record expungement. Additional job fair preparation assistance is available by contacting 724-223-4430.

Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will hold an evening of music at a campfire jam at 7 p.m. Thursday at Shelter 4 in Mingo Creek County Park. Musicians who play an instrument are welcome to share their talents. Participants should bring a chair or blanket. Light refreshments will be served. There is no fee. The 14th Annual Prevention Fair in the Park, sponsored by Washington Drug & Alcohol Commission, Inc., will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Friday at the Vernon Neal Sports Complex in Washington Park. Fort Henry Chapter of Sons of the American Revolution and the Wheeling Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution will collect American flags for retirement at their booth at the Wheeling Arts and Cultural Festival from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Wheeling Heritage Port, W.Va. Collected flags will be incinerated through the courtesy of Kepner Funeral Home, Wheeling.

Avery United Methodist Church, 1100 Gabby Avenue, Washington, will hold Movie on the Green: “Moana,” at 8 p.m. Friday. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Bring a chair and blanket.
