St. Patrick Parish, Canonsburg, will hold its annual Summer Festival from 5 to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. There will be dinners, ethnic food, festival food, games, book sale, bake sale, basket raffle and funnel cake. Entertainment will be provided, and a few St. Patrick members will make pierogies. There also will be a grand $10,000 raffle, with the drawing planned for Sunday.

Town and County Garden Club is sponsoring a NGC Standard Flower Show, “Nursery Rhymes of Old,” from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Greene Valley Presbyterian Church in Carmichaels. Free admission.

Jefferson Township Historical Society, Eldersville, will hold a small picnic at 10 a.m. Saturday at the White Church in lieu of a regular meeting because of recent tragedies faced by the organization and the community. A meet-and-greet for historian James Smith Jr. will be held. Those who plan to bring a covered dish or dessert should call Diane Huggins at 724-947-9782 or Jean Baltich at 304-748-6376.

Oldies dance, sponsored by the Brownsville Area Military Honor Roll committee, will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the Brownsville Sons & Daughters of Italy, Frank Ricco Lodge 731, 16 Race St. DJ will be Ted Knisely. Proceeds will be used to build a military memorial/honor roll in Snowdon Square’s new park. Admission is $10 per person. There will be a cash bar.
