Ride for Autism begins in W. Brownsville

West Brownsville American Legion Post 940, 800 Middle St., will hold its fourth annual Ride for Autism July 8.

Registration for riders is 9:30 to 11 a.m. Cost is $20 for the rider and $30 with a passenger.

The ride begins at 11 a.m. and will head to Bentleyville, Houston, Avella, Claysville, Washington and back to the legion. Activities that are open to the public will be held all day, including entertainment by Refuge at 4 p.m., a Chinese auction and other raffles. The kitchen also will be open.

All proceeds benefit ACT! Today for Military Families. Last year, the event raised $13,240. This year’s goal is $15,000.
