Church to renovate former Cardale school
The former Cardale Elementary School, 112 Thornton Road, Brownsville, has passed on to Fresh Fire Church, which has been searching for a larger facility for at least two years because it has long outgrown its Brier Hill building.
The 10-acre school property was donated to the church, which has started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to renovate the facility. The money will be used for clean-up and renovation of the school. Donations are tax-deductible.
The church is planning to convert the property into a worship and community center for local civic and religious activities, such as concerts, games, training, events, media broadcasting and production and community action programs.
