Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority is flushing hydrants in Cumberland Township. Customers may experience a temporary drop in pressure, loss of pressure or discolored water.

South Hills Children’s Choir will hold its spring performace, “Until We Meet Again,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Beverly Heights Presbyterian Church, Route 19, Mt. Lebanon. The choir also will perform June 9 at St. David’s Episcopal Church on East McMurray Road. Ringgold Middle School (formally Finley Middle School) will close at the end of this school year. A new middle school will open next year on the high school campus to take its place. To celebrate, choir and musical alumni as well as the general public are invited to “An Evening of Musical Memories” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the auditorium.
A flea market, book sale and bake sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and May 20 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Sixth and Lookout, Charleroi. The kitchen will be open.
Quarter Auction to benefit Community Cats of the Upper Ohio Valley will be held Saturday at the Weirton, W.Va., Senior Center, 3425 Main St. There will be vendors, prizes, food and desserts. Doors open at 11 a.m., and the auction begins at noon. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door. Proceeds benefit homeless cats and kittens in the Upper Ohio Valley.
White Oak American Legion Post 701, 2813 Capital St., will sponsor oldies dances from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday and May 27. A 50/50 raffle will be offered. Admission is $5 per person.
