A craft and vendor show fundraiser to benefit the Carmichaels High School volleyball team will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Carmichaels Elementary School.
Antiques Appraisal sponsored by the Monongahela Area Revitalization Corp. will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Monongahela Area Library, 813 W. Main St. Items will be appraised by Anthony Luppino and Phong T. Bui of Luppino Brothers Antiques and Estate Jewelry of Mt. Lebanon. Open appraisals cost $5. A spaghetti dinner benefit for Patty Douglas of Claysville will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday at American Legion Post 639, Claysville. The menu includes spaghetti and meatballs, salad and roll. Dine in or take out. There will be a Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle; winner need not be present. Music will be provided by Justin Miller from 2 to 6 p.m. Cost is $14 for adult couples (dine in only), $8 for those 12 and older and $4 for 5- to 11-year-olds. Children 4 and younger eat free. Martha Washington Garden Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church, 90 W. Walnut St., Washington. A light lunch will be served, followed by the presentation “Birds, Birds and other Creatures.” Chris Hamilton, a member of the Three Rivers Birding Club of Pittsburgh and Washington Camera Club, will present her photography of birds and other creatures from around the globe. There will be a seed and plant exchange. Bring some to share.
Retired Men’s Luncheon Group will meet at noon Thursday at Pleasant Hills Presbyterian Church, 199 Old Clairton Road. Speaker will be Jack Puglisi, who will discuss Benjamin Franklin. Cost for lunch is $7, payable at the door. Reservations are required; call 412-655-2000.

Laboratory Presbyterian Church is renting space along Route 40 May 19 and May 20 during National Pike Days. Cost is $10 per space, per day. Rent space for one or both days. Vendors will be responsible for their own tents, tarps and tables, with a maximum of three tables, and setup and removal of their items. The church will have hot dogs, snacks and soda for sale.
