Central Blood Bank will hold a blood drive from 12:30 to 6 p.m. June 7 at St. Francis of Assisi, Finley Hall, Washington Avenue, Finleyville. West Newton Center for Active Adults will host a trip to Rogers Flea Market and Auctions in Rogers, Ohio, June 9. Cost is $31 per person. Full payment is your reservation and can be mailed to West Newton Senior Center, 103 E. Main St., West Newton, PA 15089. Cancellations will be accepted only if participants find replacements. Strawberry Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 9 in the Education Conference Center and outside Central Plaza at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Summer Paint/Sip/Eat to benefit the Claysville Community Center will be held June 9 at the community center on Main Street. A buffet dinner will be served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the painting class from 6:30 to 8:30. Cost is $45 for the class and dinner; $35 for the class only; and $10 for the dinner only. Robinson Presbyterian Church, 521 Church Lane, Bulger, will hold its annual Strawberry Festival from 5 to 7:30 p.m. June 14. The menu will include homemade roast beef, turkey salad and ham barbecue sandwiches, baked beans and a variety of cold salads and desserts. There also will be a bake sale, Chinese auction, face-painting and a kids’ fair.
