Volunteer Connection
Make a difference for a neighbor who needs a little help to remain independent. Faith in Action, a program of TRPIL, has volunteer opportunities throughout Washington County. For instance:
- A Washington senior woman with Parkinson’s needs someone to run errands and go to the grocery store for her.
- A Prosperity area senior gentleman needs help with filing medical and insurance papers, sorting through items to sell online and other clerical duties.
- An 84-year-old McDonald woman needs some friendly visits and phone calls for companionship.
- A Washington man who uses a wheelchair needs assistance with general housekeeping.
- A Washington woman needs assistance filing and sorting medical papers.
- A Burgettstown senior woman needs rides, shopping, and/or light housekeeping help. She is caring for a disabled daughter and could use someone to help her take a break.
