The Navy Office of Community Outreach is paying tribute to those who have served, sharing the stories of some of the professionals who have followed up time in the military with a new era of service to country.

Avella native Paige Flores is a member of NAVFAC Atlantic’s Environmental business line. Flores is a 20-year U.S. Navy veteran and said she has a heart for servitude that led her to a second career as a federal employee.

“I serve because I am a part of the bigger picture – NAVFAC the world over, supporting our important mission of service to the warfighter,” she said. “I still serve because NAVFAC is a great place to work.”
