Calvin United Presbyterian Church, 307 Spring St., Washington, will host a Thanksgiving Eve service at 7 p.m., Wednesday in conjunction with Pleasant View U.P. Church. To participate, call the Rev. The Canonsburg-Houston Ministerial Association’s free community dinner will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Thanksgiving in the fellowship hall of Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, 112 West Pike St.
St. Damien of Molokai Parish will hold a free dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thanksgiving Day at Father Abbate Hall, the former St. Anthony School, Park Avenue, Monongahela.
The Bradford House Museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Small Business Saturday – Nov. 25 – for free tours and shopping. The house will be decorated in 18th century holiday style, with costumed docents to relate the history. The museum is located at 175 South Main St., Washington. Fish Clan meets from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Nov. 26 at Allison’s Nazarene Church, 416 Vernon St., Allison. This once-a-month gathering of youth ages 11 to 17 meet at different churches. Youth do not have to belong to any church to join the group. They meet for Bible study, spiritual fellowship, mission, games, movies and snacks. For information, call 724-677-2149.
A mature driver improvement course will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 30 at the West Newton Senior Center, West Newton. PennDOT approved, the program is designed for drivers 55 and older. The refresher course is conducted in one four-hour session and the standard course is conducted in two three-and-a-half hour sessions.
