Rider Dinnen and Dan Krivanek, of the Pittsburgh company S City Outdoors, ran a fishing tournament recently to raise funds for a nonprofit. With Hope for Heroes founder Mitch Serlin, the company decided to raise funds for the children of slain Canonsburg police Officer Scott Bashioum. The tournament raised $1,250, and Serlin matched the donation. A check was presented to the family Nov. 7 in the Canonsburg Municipal Building with, from left, Mayor David Rhome, Ashley, Carson and Cole Bashioum, Serlin, Krivanek and Dinnen.
