More than 40 members from Avella, Fort Cherry, McGuffey and Trinity FFA chapters competed in the Washington County FFA Environmental Natural Resources contest on Oct. 20. Teams of four members were divided into wildlife or aquatics groups, where their knowledge of fish, mammal, and bird identification was tested. The teams also formulated a conservation plan for a mock farm, which they presented to a panel of judges.
