Christmas craft festival returns to fairgrounds
The 23rd annual Pennsylvania Arts and Crafts Christmas Festival will be held Friday through Sunday and Oct. 28-29 at the Washington County Fairgrounds, Washington.
The festival is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
More than 230 booths will be located through six indoor, heated buildings. Vendors from 16 states will have a variety of arts, crafts and gifts.
Dave Stoner, promoter of the event, said the festival helps the local economy by lodging out-of-state vendors. He said almost 20,000 people attended last year.
Santa will visit and take pictures. There will be food and live entertainment.
Admission is $6 for adults, $5.50 for senior citizens, $1 for children and free for children five and younger.
