Allender – 65 years
Clarence and Jeanne Allender of Washington will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary September 20.
Mr. and Mrs. Allender were married September 20, 1952, in Washington.
The couple have four children, Dan Allender of Washington, Michael (Vickie) Allender of Burnsville, Minn., Joe Allender of Washington and Mary (Jim) Helicke of Washington.
They have seven grandchildren, Ryan, Dana, Hannah, Andrew and Grace Allender and James and Matthew Helicke and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Allender retired from Jessop Steel Co. in 1990 and has since volunteered for Washington Christian Outreach.
Mrs. Allender is the founder and director of Washington Christian Outreach, where she has volunteered for the last 39 years.
Both enjoy spending time with family and friends and their loyal dog, Angel.
