Cecelia G. Allison of Venetia was named to the fall dean’s list at the University of Notre Dame. A student in the College of Science, she is a 2014 graduate of Peters Township High School. Cecelia will attend medical school in the fall.
Dylan Davis of Jefferson has been named to the fall president’s list with a 4.0 GPA at West Virginia University. Dylan is a junior majoring in physical and health education.
Maggie Fonner, daughter of Gary and Darla Fonner of Washington, was named to the fall dean’s list at Slippery Rock University, where she is majoring in mid-level education specializing in science. She was also recently awarded the position of community assistant for the 2018-19 semester. Maggie is a 2016 graduate of Trinity High School. Her grandparents are James and Phyllis Holston of Washington.
Maverick Glaum, son of Margarita and Eric Glaum of Avella, was named to the fall dean’s list at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. A cinematography major, he is a 2017 graduate of Avella Area High School.
Maria Getto was named to the fall dean’s list at West Virginia University, where she is an international studies major. She is the daughter of Michael and Janet Getto of Peters Township and a 2017 graduate of Peters Township High School.
Alexas Iams, daughter of Jana and Todd Iams of Washington, was named to the fall dean’s list at Washington and Jefferson College. A math major, she is a member of Alpha Lamda Delta Honor Society. Alexas is a 2017 graduate of Washington High School. She is employed by the Brownson House.
Austin McDaniel, son of Kurt and Denise McDaniel of Washington, was named to the fall dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where he is a business management major. He is a 2016 graduate of Trinity High School.
Evan McDaniel, son of Kurt and Denise McDaniel of Washington, was named to the fall dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where he is a criminal justice major. He is a 2016 graduate of Trinity High School.
Ryan McDaniel, son of Kurt and Denise McDaniel of Washington, was named to the fall dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where he is an accounting major. He is a 2014 graduate of Trinity High School.
Gabriella Savarno, daughter of Dr. Edward and Barbara Savarno of Charleroi, was named to the fall dean’s list at West Virginia University, where she is a freshman majoring in biochemistry. Gabriella is a 2017 graduate of Charleroi High School.
Jessica Weber, daughter of Kristi Simon of Burgettstown, was named to the fall dean’s list at Kent State University with a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta honor society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. A nursing major with a minor in healthcare administration, Jessica is a 2016 graduate of Burgettstown Junior/Senior High School. She is the granddaughter of Nick and Mildred Pogonovich of Burgettstown.
