Megan Rebecca Pierson and Benjamin Jay Dunaway were united in marriage May 13, 2017, at Oglebay Lodge in Wheeling, W.Va.

The bride’s parents are Albert and Diana Pierson of Washington.

Parents of the bridegroom are Chuck and Doris Dunaway of Washington.

Matron of honor was Courtney McKinney. Bridesmaids were Erin Spine, sister of the bride, Devra Bright, Olivia Bryniarski, Erin Bywaters, Megan Glaser and Laura Seelye.

The flower girl was Brooke Glaser.

Zack Rhodes served as the best man. Ushers were Seth Pierson, brother of the bride, Alex Dunaway, brother of the groom, Colby Black, Thomas Knowles and Clayton Mowder.

The ring bearer was Cole Bywaters.

The bride is a Trinity High School graduate. She attended Bethany College and California University of Pennsylvania, where she received her undergraduate and master’s degree in speech language pathology. Megan is employed by Advantage Care Rehabilitation.

Mr. Dunaway is a graduate of McGuffey High School and WVU School of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed by American Energy Power.

After a honeymoon to Ireland, the couple make their home in Wheeling, W.Va.
