One killed in Peters Township crash
One person was killed Sunday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident in Peters Township.
According to the Washington County coroner, the car was traveling north and crashed near 4007 Washington Road at about 12:15 p.m.
The driver was transported to Canonsburg Hospital, where they were declared dead at 1:01 p.m. It is not known if the driver was wearing a seatbelt.
According to the coroner, it is likely the crash was caused by a medical event. Peters Township police are investigating.
