County courthouses, offices closed due to weather
Washington County offices and courts will be closed Monday due to the winter storm
All county buildings, including the courthouse and district courts, will be closed to the public. Employees will work remotely where possible.
Essential operations such as the county jail, sheriff’s office and 911 will remain open.
District Judge Michael Manfredi is the on-call magistrate and will be available for anyone who files a petition under the Protection from Abuse Act, Protection from Sexual Violence and Intimidation Act and Older Adults Protective Services Act.
Fayette County offices will also be closed Monday.
According to a press release, all county buildings will be closed to the public. Fayette County Coordinated Transportation buses will not be operating.
County employees will work from home and are not reporting to offices.
Fayette County Emergency Management and 911 will continue to operate with a full staff. Residents are asked to avoid travel unless it is necessary, and to only contact 911 for true emergencies.
Westmoreland County courts and offices will also be closed.
As of 5 p.m., courts and offices in Greene County were still operating normally.
