Wash Arts Fest happening in Washington Saturday

The arts organization Wash Artist in Residency and Creative Center – Wash Arts for short – is staging Wash Arts Fest on North Main Street in Washington Saturday from noon to 10 p.m.
The festival will have live music, food trucks, art vendors, free caricatures, art and dunk tank contests and more. More than 50 vendors are participating in the event.
According to Allison Evans, Wash Arts’ executive director, “I am truly excited to provide an event for the community to gather, get to know each other, and provide support to their fellow community members.”
She added, “Wash Arts was reborn out of necessity. I felt like we needed a place to make art and provide encouragement and opportunities to be creative in our own community. Pittsburgh has an amazing art scene, but we are not Pittsburgh. We are Washington and we deserve to have an art scene of our own.”
The live music lineup is as follows:
12:30 p.m. – Dan Baker
2 p.m. – Robert Andrew Wagner
3:30 p.m. – Wendell Tyler
4:30 p.m. – Colby Waye
5:30 p.m. – Ryan Caldwell
7 p.m. – Jordan Umbach
9 p.m. – Ryan Zidek
