The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces 2026-27 season lineup

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announced its 2026-27 season last week, and it will include more than 50 live events in Pittsburgh’s Cultural District, with more shows to be announced throughout the year.

PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh

The 2026-27 PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh season will bring 11 shows to Pittsburgh, including six winners of the Tony Award for Best Musical and four that are new to Pittsburgh.

-“The Lion King,” Sept. 9-27.

-“Hadestown,” Oct. 27-Nov. 1.

-“The Notebook,” Nov. 10-15.

-“Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” Nov. 24-29.

-“Maybe Happy Ending,” Dec. 29-Jan. 3, 2027.

-“The Sound of Music,” Jan. 19-24, 2027.

-“Beetlejuice: The Musical,” Feb. 5-7, 2027.

-“Death Becomes Her,” Feb. 23-28, 2027.

-“The Phantom of the Opera,” March 17-28, 2027.

-“The Outsiders,” April 27-May 2, 2027.

-“The Who’s Tommy,” May 18-23, 2027.

The national touring productions in the PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh Series will be performed at the Benedum Center.

Pittsburgh Dance Council

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s Dance Council will bring contemporary dance companies from around the world in its 56th season.
