‘Sunday Funday’ concerts return to Oglebay

Sunday Funday has returned to Oglebay Park Resort in Wheeling, W.Va.

It brings live music, family-friendly activities, and fun to the Oglebay Amphitheater. The free weekly concert series will continue through Labor Day weekend.

Festivities begin at 6 p.m., with live music starting at 7 p.m.

The concert lineup is:

June

Sunday – Taylor Jo & The Copper Creek Band

June 14 – Yacht Rocket

June 21 -Tongue ‘N Cheek

June 28 -Van Morrison tribute

July

July 5 – Surf’s Up, a Beach Boys tribute

July 12 – Michael Christopher

July 19 – Hard Day’s Night, a Beatles Tribute

July 26 – Into the Blue, a tribute to Electric Light Orchestra

August

Aug. 2 – Hotel California, an Eagles tribute

Aug. 9 – Tumbleweed

Aug. 16 – Hoard and Jones

Aug. 23 – Bluegrass Day featuring Crandall Creek and Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper

Aug. 30 – Pocket Change

September

Sept. 6 – Wheeling Symphony Orchestra

Seating is available at the Oglebay Amphitheater, and those attending the concerts are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
