Jump Cut announces inaugural Pittsburgh noir film festival
The nonprofit film group Jump Cut is hosting the inaugural Jump Cut Pittsburgh Noir Film Festival, taking place Saturday at the Parkway Theater and Film Lounge in McKees Rocks.
The one-day festival will spotlight the beloved dark cinematic noir genre in all its glorious moral ambiguity, featuring short films from independent filmmakers spanning every neo-noir sub-genre.
Those attending can also partake of a full bar and food menu, including specially themed cocktails, while consuming the fatalism on screen. Q&A sessions with filmmakers following each showcase.
Tickets can be purchased online at bit.ly/JumpCutNoir, or at the door.
