Chartiers-Houston Community Library will hold a Give and Forgive fine event today and tomorrow. Anyone who donates a canned food item will have fines forgiven and applies to all fines except those sent to the magistrate.
Craft and vendor show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Ringgold High School gym. Admission is free. Proceeds will benefit the Ringgold Band Boosters.
Jefferson Township Historical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at the White Church building, Eldersville. Guest speaker Kerry George will discuss his book “Black Damp Century,” a work of fiction based on fact. He will talk about coal mines in America in the 1920s when miners were practically slaves to the owners. Copies of his book will be available. Refreshments will be served. The society also will hold a plant sale at 9 a.m. May 11 at the White Church. The plants were grown by the society’s Master Gardener. There will be annuals, perennials and vegetables.
Spring wildflower walk will be held from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Raccoon Creek State Park, 3000 State Route 18, Hookstown, Wildflower Reserve Interpretive Center. The program is free. For more information, call 724- 899-3611.
St. Valentine Church Christian Mothers will hold their annual flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Frawley Hall, 2710 Ohio St., Bethel Park. Admission is free. There also will be a hot lunch and a bake sale.
Buffalo Grange 1522 will hold a birthday and annivesary dinner at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the grange hall.

Wheeling Civic Garden Center, Oglebay Park, will hold a card party and salad luncheon at 11 a.m. April 26. Cost is $12 per person or $28 per table of four. Reservations are required by calling 304-242-0665. Space is limited.
