Members of the Western Pennsylvania Lensshooters Camera Club in Peters Township recently took a field trip to Cedar Creek Park in Rostraver Township, where they got up close and personal with the beauty of nature in the springtime.

They spent the majority of the trip, below left, photographing a cluster of blue-eyed Mary wildflowers, which were in full bloom along the trail in the park along the stream.

Observer-Reporter photographer Jim McNutt also captured close-ups of some other spring wildflowers in full bloom. They include, right, from top, bluebells, phlox, buttercup and trillium.
