Bag sale will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the West Alexander Community Center. Sponsored by Presbyterian Church of West Alexander.

Buffalo Grange 1523 will meet at 7 p.m. Friday in the grange hall.

Amwell Township Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Amwell Township Community Building. Joshua Scully will present a program on the history of the Appalachian Mountains.

National Pike Chapter of the DAR will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Woodlands Clubhouse. John Cunning will speak about the French and Indian War. Snacks will be provided. For more information, call Linda Bergman at 724-228-8142.

Washington Corps of the Salvation Army, 60 E. Maiden St., Washington, will hold its monthly rummage sale Tuesday. Doors will open at 9 a.m., and the bag sale will begin at noon.

Pike Run 4-H will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Grace United Methodist Church, 420 California Drive, Coal Center. Dues must be paid, and hoagie money is due. Bring nonperishable food items for the food bank collection. Call David or Kristi Lowden at 724-239-5233 for more information.

Washington Festival Chorale will present a dinner-concert, “Wearin’ of the Green,” March 16 at the Elks on West Maiden Street in Washington. Dinner begins at 6 p.m., and the concert starts at 7. Cost is $25 for dinner and the concert or $12 for the concert. For reservations, call 724-225-9659.
