Hope for Hunter fundraiser planned

1 min read

Hope for Hunter cream chicken-and-biscuit dinner will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Claysville Volunteer Fire Department.

All proceeds will be used to help pay for the medical expenses of 7 1/2-month-old Hunter McAdoo of Claysville, who is undergoing genetic testing for a rare disorder that has affected the white matter of his brain.

The disorder caused him to start losing his motor skills when he was 6 months old. He has been hospitalized three times since Sept. 30, and most recently received a feeding tube.

Dinner costs $12 for adults and $6 for children and includes mashed potatoes, salad, beverage and a piece of pie. Takeout will be available.

There also will be a pie sale and a Chinese auction.

Donations are welcome, and a fund has been established in Hunter’s name at First Federal Bank of Greene County. Checks should be made payable to Hunter McAdoo or Hope for Hunter.
