Easter egg hunts
Central Assembly of God, 155 McGovern Road, Houston, Saturday at the the Rock youth center. Doors open at 12:15 p.m., and the hunt with more than 12,000 eggs will begin at 12:30. There will be activities, a bounce house, prizes and lunch. Open to toddlers through fifth-graders. The event is free, but registration is required by Wednesday by visiting www.centralconnect.org.
John Wesley United Methodist Church, 35 Central Ave., Washington, noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. Open to 2- to 12-year-olds. Lunch will be provided.
Mason-Dixon Historical Park, Core, W.Va., 3 p.m. Saturday. Plastic eggs will be filled with candy, and the Easter Bunny will be available for photos. Registration will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. There will be games and contests, with prizes awarded to the winners. The hunt will be divided into four age groups for children up to 12 years old. There also will be an egg hunt for those 13 and older. Hot dogs, drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.
Peters Township Public Library, 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. April 15 and April 16.
West Alexander Presbyterian Church, 108 Main St., 11 a.m. to noon Saturday. Open to children up to 12 years old.
