Edwin Scott Linton American Legion Auxiliary Unit 175 recently presented certificates to winners of the Americanism essay, “How Can I Show My Pride in Being an American?”

Winners were:

• John F. Kennedy Catholic School – Krista Lebar, first place, and Mark Frazee II, second place.

• Trinity High School – Camari Scott, first place, ninth and 10th grades; Sarah Kirby, second place, ninth and 10th grades; Allie Tiano, first place, 11th and 12th grades; and Georgette Scott, second place, 11th and 12th grades.

• Washington Park Elementary School – Chloe Mancuso, first place, and Ashley Snee, second place.
