Meadows to offer diverse music slate during September
Radio Tokyo will kick off the September lineup at The Meadows Casino on Sept. 4.
Country band Ruff Creek will perform Sept. 11.
A disco party featuring Dancing Queen will be held Sept. 18.
Turnstiles, a Billy Joel tribute band, will perform Sept. 26.
The Meadows Casino will showcase a mix of country, rock and disco with its entertainment lineup in September.
Admission for all shows is free.
All shows begin at 8 p.m., with the exception of the Sept. 6 performance, which starts at 9 p.m.
The headliners include:
• Sept. 4 – Radio Tokyo, party rock and rhythm and blues;
• Sept. 5 – Stampede, country;
• Sept. 6 – Lyndsey Smith & Soul Distribution, dance and variety;
• Sept. 11 – Ruff Creek, country;
• Sept. 12 – Mercedez, dance;
• Sept. 18 – Dancing Queen, disco party;
• Sept. 19 – U.S. Kids, rock;
• Sept. 25 – Savannah Jack, country and variety;
• Sept. 26 – Turnstiles, Billy Joel tribute.
At VIBE, Sock Hop Sunday is held from 4 to 7 p.m., with doo-wop DJ Dale Allen from WJPA Radio.
Every Friday at 9 p.m. is “100.7 Party to Go.” TJ the DJ of Star 100.7 joins the casino’s DJ AJ Fresh. DJ C.K. will be a guest on Sept. 25.
“Saturday Dance Night” with DJ AJ Fresh begins at 9 p.m. each week.
