Paris Presbyterian Church, 127 Steubenville Pike, Burgettstown, is seeking participants for its cooking contest. Recipes will be made from Susan Spencer Smith’s “Preacher Lady’s Cookbook for the Hungry Heart.” Call the church at 724-729-3450 to select a recipe from three categories: main dish, side dish or dessert. A luncheon will be held at noon Wednesday at The Gathering Place Coffee Shop to taste the dishes, and Smith will decide the winner in each category.

First Christian Church, 615 E. Beau St., Washington, will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. Dinner includes spaghetti with homemade meat sauce, salad, Italian bread, drink and homemade dessert. Cost is $9 for adults and $4 for 4- through 12-year-olds. Children 3 and younger eat free. Claysville Christian Church will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Dinner includes spaghetti, salad, garlic toast, dessert and beverage. Takeout will be available. Donations will be accepted.

Cornerstone Care will hold its “Dancing with a Pink Ribbon” program from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the Mt. Morris Senior Center. Free clinical breast exams and mammogram referrals for uninsured or underinsured women 40 and older will be offered on Cornerstone’s mobile medical unit. Education on the importance of early detection and prevention of breast cancer also will be available. Funding is provided by Susan G. Komen, Pittsburgh. Washington Corps of the Salvation Army, 60 E. Maiden St., will hold its monthly rummage sale Tuesday. Doors open at 9 a.m., and the bag sale begins at noon.

Washington Youth Football and Cheerleading Organization will hold its fall cheer registration for girls ages 6 through 12 years old from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 18 and March 11 at Washington Park School. Initial registration fee is $50. For more information, call Tom Kelly at 412-997-4106.

Black Association of South Hills Women will host a scholarship fundraiser luncheon and fashion show from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 14 at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, 340 Racetrack Road, Meadow Lands. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased from a member at www.bashforwomen.com.
