Johnny Angel, Country Music Fest highlight casino’s lineup
The February entertainment lineup at The Meadows Casino will feature local oldies favorite Johnny Angel & the Halos and include a mix a genres.
Admission is free for all shows, except Johnny Angel & the Halos. Cost is $35 and includes dinner. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the show, and the group will perform at 7. All other shows begin at 8 p.m.
The lineup is as follows:
• Today – Finally Free, classic rock;
• Saturday – Radio Tokyo, dance/variety;
• Feb. 12 – Mad Dog Rodeo, country;
• Feb. 13 – House of Soul, funk/dance;
• Feb. 14 – Johnny Angel & the Halos, oldies/dance;
• Feb. 19 – The Hawkeyes, rock;
• Feb. 20 – Country Music Fest featuring The Stickers;
• Feb. 26 – The Abilene Band with Rebecca Kaufman, country;
• Feb. 27 – Street Level, dance/variety.
The Davisson Brothers Band will perform a free show from 7 to 10 p.m. every Thursday in February in Headliners.
Every Sunday, except Feb. 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. is “Sock Hop Sunday.” Doo-wop DJ Dale Allen from WJPA Radio provides the music.
Flashback Fridays will be held Feb. 12 and 26, beginning at 9 p.m. TJ the DJ of Star 100.7 will join Meadows DJ AJ Fresh. Every Saturday night is “Saturday Dance Night” with Fresh. The music begins at 9 p.m.
