The Slovene National Benefit Society will host its 35th annual Slovenefest at noon Friday through Sunday at the SNPJ Recreation Center, 270 Martin Road, Enon Valley.

SNPJ’s Slovenefest, the largest Slovenian cultural festival of its kind, will feature more than 20 Slovenian polka bands and button-box accordion clubs at five indoor and outdoor venues.

Food will include Slovenian sausage, barbecued lamb and pork and other festival foods, along with Slovenian beer and wines and other beverages.

There also will be an extensive display of folk attire, crafts and presentations in the SNPJ Slovenian Heritage Center museum, and there is an Olympic-size pool, fishing in the SNPJ Recreation Center lake, miniature golf, a trackless train and playground equipment. Fireworks will be held Saturday night, weather permitting.

Admission is $10 on Friday and Sunday and $15 on Saturday. A three-day pass is available for $30. All activities are included in the admission price. Those 16 and younger are free.
