Family reunions
Moore reunion will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the pavilion at South Strabane Fire Department Pavilion. Bring a covered dish. There will be games. For more information, call Mike Moore at 678-937-3625.
Staffen reunion will begin at noon July 16 at Cedar Creek Park, Rostraver Pavilion No. 2. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Bring a covered dish to share, utensils, paper plates and drinks. McMillan reunion for descendants of the Rev. John McMillan will be held Aug. 6 at Chartiers Hill United Presbyterian Church, Routes 19 and 519, Canonsburg. Registration will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by a presentation by George Balderose, executive director of the Balmoral School of Piping, about bagpipe music and why Presbyterians brought bagpipes when they immigrated to the United States. Group picture will be taken at 11:45 a.m. Cost is $20, and must be paid in advance. A catered lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $20.
