Steel City Comedy Tour to stop at Stockdale Volunteer Fire Dept.
The Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department, will hold a Steel City Comedy Tour Nov. 19 at the Stockdale Fire Department social hall. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30.
The Steel City Comedy Tour includes four Pittsburgh comedians: Chuck Kreiger, Mike Wysocki, Sean Collier and Brad Ryan.
Collier is a member of the WDVE “Morning Show” and works the Pittsburgh Improv. Wysocki has worked on both Q92 and the WDVE “Morning Show,” and also has been on the “Arsenio Hall Show” and plays many top clubs.
Krieger has been a top touring headliner for more than 20 years, playing many clubs across the country. He had his own radio show (“Sunday Morning Live”) and has opened for many national touring acts, including Lewis Black, Jim Gaffigan, Artie Lange, Jon Lovitz, Patton Oswalt and Weird Al Yankovic.
Ryan, who will serve as the emcee, has worked the Funnybone and Funny Farm Comedy Club.
Tickets are $20 and include draft beer. Stockdale firemen will have food and mixers (BYOB) available for sale. The chamber will feature a money wall, which will net the winner upwards of $1,000, based on participation. The SVFD also will have small games of chance.
Those who attend must be 21 or older. Proof of age will be required at the door.
