Jefferson-Morgan High School graduated 59 seniors June 1 in Stanley Fowler Auditorium.

Emma Frank was the valedictorian, and Erin Confortini was the salutatorian.

Frank, daughter of Rebecca Frank of Rices Landing, has served as president of the National Honor Society, the Leo Club, Science Olympiad, Foreign Language Club and Envirothon. She also served as captain of the varsity cheerleading squad and was awarded “Commended Scholar” by the National Merit Scholarship Association.

She received the Mateucci Family Scholarship, the Marine Corps Academic Excellence Award, the John T. Toth Memorial Scholarship, the Greene County Memorial Hospital Scholarship, the AP Scholar Award and scholarships from the Lions Club and American Legion.

Frank plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to pursue dual degrees in molecular biology, with a focus in biochemistry on the premedical track, and gender and women’s studies.

Confortini, daughter of Sharon and Dean Confortini of Mather, was class president and a member of the academic team, drama club, debate team, Interact Club, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Leo Club and National Honor Society.

She also was captain of the volleyball and basketball teams and a member of the track team. She received the AP Scholar Award and is a member of the Penn State 4.0 Club.

She plans to attend Penn State University.
