Cecil “Bud” and Dolores Frye of Prosperity will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary with a motorcycle ride to Blue Ridge Parkway and Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee.

Mr. and Mrs. Frye were married April 14, 1978, in Windy Gap Presbyterian Church, West Finley.

The Fryes have three children, Carrie Frye (Mike Sprowls) of Claysville, Jeremiah (Nikki) Frye of Prosperity and Stacy (Mark) Day of Washington.

Their grandchildren are Jake and Justin Bush, Shane and Kaylee Beck, Lily Frye and Brady Day.

Mr. Frye is a fitter for Caterpillar in Houston and Mrs. Frye retired as a department manager for Walmart.
