Kengor – 40 years
Stan and Kathy Kengor of Washington celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary July 20 with a surprise dinner party for family and friends in Wilson Lodge at Oglebay Park. They also enjoyed a weekend stay at the lodge, a gift from their children.
The Kengors were married July 21, 1973, in Lower Burrell.
Mr. and Mrs. Kengor are the parents of two sons, Brian (Traci) Kengor and Matthew (Amber) Kengor, both of Washington. Their grandchildren are Joshua Haley, Braden Kengor, Mason Kengor and John Kengor.
Mr. Kengor retired from Consol Energy Bailey Mine after 33 years of service in coal mining. He also is a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He served in Vietnam and was discharged in 1972.
Mrs. Kengor is a homemaker and has been employed by Martin Tax Service for 13 years.
