Dugan – 60 years
John and Ann Dayak Dugan, formerly of Canonsburg, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday, June 22, at the Shanandougha Restaurant in Long Beach, Calif. The couple were joined by family members.
Mr. and Mrs. Dugan were married June 27, 1953, at St. Michael’s Church in Canonsburg. The couple raised their two son, Michael and Robert, in Canonsburg. They also have many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Dugan was in the asphalt business. In 1957, the couple decided to move their family to Downey, Calif. He and his two sons started their own company, Dugan Engineering, in 1981.
Mrs. Dugan was employed by Rockwell/Boeing, working in the space program.
Both recently retired and plan to enjoy spending time with their family.
