Russell and Rose Ann Gorby of Washington will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends in their home from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Gorby were married May 18, 1963, in Accident, Md.

The couple have two children, Robin Gorby of Washington and Regina (Mike) Osko of Washington.

Their five grandchildren are Christopher, Victoria, Stephanie, Garrett and Tristen.

Mr. Gorby worked numerous jobs before retiring from Washington Hospital. He also served for 21 years in the Army National Guard and Reserves.

Mrs. Gorby drove a school bus for GG&C for 32 years and worked at Washington Hospital before retiring.

Both enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and gardening.
