Deems’ parents are Russell Deems of Clarkesville and Mary Hixon of Rices Landing.
Air Force Airman Brian M. Garrick graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. Garrick, son of Melissa Garrick of Donora, is a 2012 graduate of Ringgold High School.
